I waited with baited breath for this to arrive based on Fishmans description. I thought well, this will be great to be able to adjust the mic portion of the pick-up. Silly me!!! The flexible shaft of the mic just LIMPLY sags and will not stay where you position it. You would think Fishman (making such good pick-ups) would have made a more sturdy flexible shaft.Got it today----going back today.
Fender Custom Shop Pickups Strat Texas Specials (Set Of 3)
This is the pickup that redefined the Texas blues sound. Texas Specials boast plenty of midrange chirp, crystal highs and tight bass, along with increased output.
They don't sell a lot of these....the pickups arrived in packaging which was cracked from UV degradation (sitting in a display case somewhere for a LONG time in direct sunlight)...but, installed them and THEY ROCK! The Strat is back to normal!
Roland GR-55GK Guitar Synthesizer w/ GK-3 Pickup
The GR-55 from Roland is a fast reacting and accurate guitar synthesizer for use with a GK3 pickup attached to any type of guitar. Fishman BP-100 Upright Bass Pickup
This is the product that started it all: our classic bridge-mounted, dual-element piezo-ceramic pickup. The BP-100 installs in minutes and delivers deep sustained pizz tone and fast articulation with emphasized direct string sound. A Pro-EQ Platinum Bass, Pro-EQ II or B-II preamp is recommended, but not required.
I glued the sensors to the bridge with crazy glue gel and elimnated the clip popping off problem. It sounded terrible with the clips but better with the glue. The sound is still pretty high end with weak bass. Even with my amp equalizer set to fully attenuate everything above 250 Hz, it has no bottom. If you like the high end sound, OK. But I wanted more depth.

I received the package, no complaints on the Pedal. Though, the offer says that the package includes a Patch Cable and a Pick Card, but they were not in the box.

The pedal does what it claims to do, cleans up nicely when rolling back the guitar volume. My only complaint is that it's a little noisy with the gain turned up, through my setup anyway. I have to remember to turn it off in between songs.

The Product:I highly recommend the LR Baggs Anthem SL. I installed it in my 2010 Collings OM1 Mh Sb & it sounds great. The primary source is a mic on the bridge plate of the guitar. It is very feedback-resistant (I haven't had feedback problems yet), there is no hallow sound. The sound is very natural & captures the true dynamics of the guitar.Amazon/USPS shipping:DO NOT use the "super saver free shipping." Amazon's ETA on the product was 5-8 days through USPS. It took nearly 3 weeks to deliver. Also, I had no idea of the location of the package until it arrived. USPS did not provide any location information, only time of arrivals at unknown locations. Just got mine and it is a great pendant!!! The seller was also great!!! The product is very versatile as you can change the pick to any color and design that suits your mood and your clothes! You can also change the necklace into either a ball and chain,,a silver one,,or a leather one in black or brown...One can fit atleast 3+ picks for functionality, but this product is more of a rock apparel which is my main use for it! the rest of my picks stays in my pocket :-) during extreme conditions, you can use it also as a defensive weapon if the chain is long enough:-) 5 stars x 10!!!!!

I've owned an Oscar Schmidt O30 Guitar (Hollow Body) for a few years and it has become one of my favorite guitars. Despite its price it looks terrific, has an outstanding intonation and a very warm sound. However I always felt there was something this guitar was missing. I thought because of the price of the guitar I couldn't expect that much out of it, so I let the issue rest for a few years.Later on, I decided maybe the sound of the guitar could be improved by upgrading the pick ups. After a lot of research, I looked upon the Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Set and decided to give it a try. It was one of my best decisions! The guitar sounded OK but now it sounds great! The pick ups really pick the warm sound of the guitar and add beautiful harmonics!I highly recommend this set for hollow body guitars.

Since I was born in 1954 and decided a few years ago to learn to build guitars I decided to build a Strat as close to a '54 as I could. The first year of the Stratocasters.Not much to really stress about building this "Strat". I used "swamp" ash, not alder, as the originals were swamp ash. I found a Fender re-issue 1957 Buddy Guy maple neck at a local shop. I made the body from scratch, swamp ash is lightweight and not difficult to cut and shape.I bought a set of the Custom Shop 54 pickups and long story short this guitar sounds fantastic. It has the bite, twang and brightness of an old Strat and I would not part with it for anything. It can growl too...A few hot players in my area have played it and all have praised the sound. A swamp ash body with these pickups would please any Fender I am sure.
